Crea reinterprets wall coverings, transforming them into architectural and scenic elements. The collection is conceived as an open modular system, combining surfaces inspired by fine woods, natural stones, and hand-worked plasters, offering designers a broad and coherent material vocabulary. The 60×135 centimeter format ensures precise modularity, ideal for cladding continuous walls up to 270 centimeters high, creating sculptural surfaces where textures and volumes interact in a contemporary language.
The heart of the project is the three-dimensional wood-effect structures. One of the structures consists of curved slats that reinterpret the essence of striped oak in the shades Light Oak and Dark Oak, easily integrated into various color settings. The structure that reinterprets classic paneling, with a more architectural design, enhances the graphics of the material thanks to 3D Ink technology, which brings out the richness of striped oak and American walnut through knots, sapwood, and breathing spaces. A raised frame defines the perimeter, creating elegant modules in three shades: Light Oak, Dark Oak, and Canaletto Walnut.
The system is completed by a bronze-colored metal insert, designed as a connecting element between surfaces and materials of different thicknesses. Modular for the vertical installation of two elements, with a 2-millimeter gap, the insert becomes a refined graphic detail that highlights the composition of the ceramic slabs.
Alongside the wood, Crea offers material interpretations of stone and plaster. Crea Pietra di Sicilia gives a contemporary twist to stone material, with warm, delicately veined backgrounds coordinated with Mystone Pietra di Sicilia flooring. Available in White and Beige shades, it is also offered in a three-dimensional version that recalls Doric fluting, with no limitations on installation direction, ensuring maximum creative freedom. Crea Tivoli, on the other hand, is inspired by the stone quarried in the town near Rome, with a vibrant texture emphasized by 3D Ink technology, also available in White and Beige.
The interpretation of plaster, in the shades Lime and Pumice, completes the system as an essential and measured surface, designed to serve as a neutral backdrop for more expressive compositions. This base is enhanced by the Déco’ texture, a tone-on-tone three-dimensional motif created with Touch technology: an advanced digital process which, through a double Inkjet pass, combines two-dimensional printing and raised decoration directly on the ceramic surface. The controlled application of grit, fused during firing, creates a calibrated material effect that amplifies the depth and colors of the design, maintaining a photorealistic appearance even on structured surfaces. The visual continuity of the wall is finally ensured by an installation direction designed to preserve pattern unity.
