The wood effect redesigns the wall

Reading time: minutes

The surfaces of the Boiserie collection are made with proprietary 3D Ink technology, which combines graphic precision and three-dimensional digital printing to achieve a deep, highly realistic material effect. The structures are designed to visually integrate with each other, reducing the perception of joints and creating continuous, homogeneous walls with strong visual impact.

Boiserie is the new wood-effect wall covering by Marazzi that translates into ceramic two key trends in contemporary interior design: the use of wood on walls and the return of decorative boiserie. Designed for half-height applications – 120 centimeters – or full wall, the collection allows for both vertical and horizontal installation, offering great compositional freedom.

The range comes in two shades – Rovere Chiaro, bright and contemporary, and Rovere, warmer and more classic in style – both in the 40×120 cm format. The collection stands out for two three-dimensional structures that reinterpret the theme of boiserie with different design languages. Mod01 features a sequence of thin, closely spaced reliefs, with soft, continuous lines inspired by bamboo canes, creating an elegant and uniform effect, as well as offering versatility thanks to installation in either direction. Mod03, on the other hand, is characterized by a more rhythmic and rigorous design, with more pronounced slats that recall traditional English boiserie and strongly enhance the wood’s graphic design.

Boiserie interacts with other Marazzi wall coverings in the same format – such as Limestone Wall, Cementum Wall and Slow Wall – but also with the small formats of the Crogiolo collection and the large slabs from the Grande series, allowing you to create continuous walls or articulated decorative boiserie.
