Casa Ba, a cool, dynamic interior with Marazzi Block
Resin-effect stoneware in Greige colour for a residential project brimming with personality
Casa Bais a duplex apartment in the Verona area designed by the Blocco A firm with fascinating creative solutions and carefully styled details.
The home is on two floors: the ground floor contains an open-plan dining and kitchen area, together with the study and bathroom, while the top floor provides the bedrooms, the walk-in wardrobe, the second bathroom and a large private terrace.
The two floors are connected by a spiral staircase with black metal structure and wooden steps: in full sight but light and elegant, it is also a decorative feature of the living area.
The interiors are light-filled and vibrant, with furnishings that mix contemporary design, salvaged items and vintage touches. The dominant colour is white, enhanced by tactile surfaces like wood and concrete.
The architects chose all the decorative detailsto reflect the tastes and personality of the home's owners and make this duplex apartment particularly cool yet comfortable, both refined and contemporary. One example is the partition which separates yet combines the living and kitchen areas, made even more effective by the lighting details visible from the lounge zone.
The finishes were also all carefully selected by the architects to suit the individual tastes of Casa Ba'sowners.
For the floor coverings on the ground floor, the choice went toBlock porcelain stoneware, the Marazzi collection inspired by a resin effect.
Block has a distinctive trowelled surface which alternates glossy and matt finishes, providing a contemporary lookand anoriginal, tactile effect, similar to that of a resin flooring.
The collection is available in seven colours and five sizes and can be installed on both floors and walls, as well as outdoors in its 30 x 60 outdoorversion. In Casa Ba, Block was used in the 60 x 60 size, in Greige, a neutral colour that is particularly in line with the latest design trends, since it mitigates the coldness of grey with warmer touches of beige.
