CDW : Marazzi presents "It’s a puzzle!” in London

Triennale, the “four curve” tile designed for Marazzi by Gio Ponti and Alberto Rosselli in 1960, is the star of “It’s a puzzle”, theinstallation by Irene Arescaldino in the Marazzi showroom on St. John Street, during the Clerkenwell Design Week.

The new ceramic and stoneware collections re-create the iconic form of the Triennale, and interpret it with irony as a kind of jigsaw puzzle, covering and modulating space. The installation evokes linguistic assonances with timeless tricks and conundrums and interprets the brand's new products in tactile compositions that highlight the texture and neutral shades of the new stonewares and the structured surfaces and elegant colours of the wall coverings.

An uncompleted puzzle, including different effects - the restraint of concrete with Apparel and the SistemS latest-generation technical stoneware, the timeless elegance of Venetian Terrazzo and marble with Art and Allmarble Golden Cream - also embraces the large slabs of Grand Carpet, designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, and Grande Concrete Look.

The new stoneware composition appears alongside a large cubic block which recalls Rubik's cube puzzle, this time constructed with the Eclettica slimline thickness wall covering in a sophisticated combination of colours, highlighting all the shades in the collection via contrasting arrangements in the various four curve modules.

"It’s a puzzle!" will be on display at the Marazzi showroom, 90/92 St. John Street London from 9:30 to 22:00 hrs on 21 to 23 May, to mark Clerkenwell Design Week.
