Hotel and catering, hospitality and leisureParadise Lodge is a 4-star superior hotel situated in the heart of Livigno, refurbished according to a design by the interior design studio Art Domus of Ortisei, led by architect Daniele Bonato. The spaces are inspired by materials from traditional mountain construction, such as stone and wood, complemented by subtle urban accents and contemporary design.
Aurora, Sunrise, Sunset, Sublima and Celestia: these are the names of the 39 rooms at Paradise Lodge, each embodying a refined and modern alpine style. From the most intimate and cosy rooms to the suites and family suites, each offers an exclusive retreat suited to every type of holiday. The private Turkish bath and the outdoor whirlpool bath in the suites affirm a spatial arrangement dedicated to relaxation and privacy. Attention to wellness continues in the spa, complemented by a heated pool that extends from the interior to the exterior, affording views over the surrounding mountain landscape. For sports enthusiasts, the fitness area offers guests the most modern and advanced equipment.
Every finish and furnishing in the rooms, as well as in the fitness and wellness areas, is carefully designed to evoke the uniqueness and natural character of the mountain landscape, its colours and materials, guiding guests on a restorative journey.
In the guest rooms and spa areas, as well as in the relaxation lounges, Marazzi porcelain stoneware has been laid on both the walls and thefloors. Notably, the Naturalia collections in the Bianco shade; A surface inspired by sandstone, characterised by veins and inclusions that enrich the material with intricate details and an unexpected tactile texture, and Vero, which revives the timeless elegance of wood and the uniqueness of the finest essences, thanks to the proprietary Sublime Sync® technology that enables the texture’s design to integrate perfectly with the surface finish structure, imparting unprecedented depth.
The perfect harmony between the graphics and the tactile qualities of the textures endows the surfaces with volume and remarkable material realism, achieved through an advanced system combining optical recognition with precise printing.
“We have employed porcelain stoneware for many surfaces owing to the absolute aesthetic quality and modernity of the collections, including those inspired by natural materials,” commented architect Bonato, “Features that align with durability, hygiene, and the capacity to effectively transmit the warmth of underfloor heating.”
In imparting a contemporary accent to the style of the spaces, a fundamental role is also played by the series Mystone Ceppo di Gré, which recalls Italian rock with large embedded pebbles, and Terratech, a technical collection representing a new frontier of high-performance products due to the inclusion of full-body flakes and its tactile, smooth surface; the latter installed on the wall.
The high durability and the inspiration drawn from wooden surfaces also guide the choice of materials for the service areas – kitchen, storerooms, bike centre – where, alongside the Terratech collection, we find the SistemT and SistemN series, technical porcelain stoneware characterised by surfaces with micro-granules reminiscent of granite.
For the external areas, tiles suitable for floating installation outdoors have been selected- 20 mm thick – from the Vero collection, presented here in the Oak variant, and from the Intrecci collection – which features a classic coffered pattern in the large 120x120 cm format – in the warm tones of chestnut wood.
An exclusive 6,000 square metre garden forms the natural extension of the spa and acts as a setting for wellness activities, including yoga and meditation sessions conducted within the forest, embraced by the restorative silence of the mountains.
