The Saint-Germain-des-Prés showroom takes part in Paris Design Week with a dazzling exhibit and a material library for professionals, within the Promenade Project focused on sustainability and home interior design

Recommended routes from the Rive Gauche to Opéra-Concorde, from Étoile to the Palais-Royal and from the Marais to the Bastille provide visitors and professionals with guidance for exploring interior decoration and design. This year, Paris Design Week is organised in 11 Promenades or thematic routes that investigate the worlds of art and design, classic and contemporary furnishings, food design and the art of the table.

Marazzi is taking part in the Promenade Project, which focuses on interior, bathroom and kitchen design, with an impressive exhibit in the iconic three-floor Haussmann-era building at Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The star products are the latest material effects of the Grande Marble Look and The Top large slabs, the Naturalia stone-effect high-tech stoneware and the colourful brick tiles of the Crogiolo Confetto collection.

The exhibit is dominated by the concept of mix & match not just across collections but also of different sizes, demonstrating the compositional and expressive versatility of the Marazzi catalogue. For example, different collections are juxtaposed in the large show windows overlooking the street: from the Grande Marble Look large slabs to the sophisticated Puzzle mosaic from the Momenti collection, and from the 3D structures of the Crogiolo Confetto collection with their slight breakthrough in the middle to Naturalia, which evokes the roughness of stone with the aid of the latest-generation 3D Ink and StepWise technologies.

On the first floor of the showroom, the material library is a physical catalogue for architects, interior designers, dealers and end customers, the opportunity to experiment with and combine the wide choice of surfaces, textures and colours. This compositional freedom combines with environmental awareness: the high technology of Marazzi’s production processes keeps energy and water use down and recycles up to 40% of waste materials.
