Milan Design Week 2024: the events

Reading time: minutes

From the versatility of The Top large slabs to Crogiolo small-size tiles, your guide to the design events scheduled during Milan Design Week 2024

At Salone del Mobile, Marazzi presents its innovative The Suite project, an interpretation of a high-end urban hotel suite in which the various The Top material effects combine, impeccably matched on the walls, architectural forms and furnishings. The hotel suite, with its simple, elegant interior of about 200 square metres designed by Il Magma, is a very attractive place comprising a sequence of rooms that dialogue in an alternation of open and enclosed areas and public and private spaces.

During the Milan Design Week, the new Marazzi stoneware collections raise artisanal details and tactile realism to new heights at the Milan showroom at Via Borgogna 2, designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. From the wide range of small-size tiles from the Crogiolo collections, which evoke the flawed beauty of hand-made ceramics, through to the large Stone and Marble Look porcelain stoneware slabs of The Top collection, the latest Marazzi products offer vast aesthetic and functional versatility.

Last but not least, the events schedule continues with Material Home by Elisa Ossino Studio for Elle Decor at Palazzo Bovara. The installation provides a synaesthetic, sensory visitor experience in which every room uses a selection of materials to create abstract installations and spatial impressions, with design the predominant factor. An immersive experience, enriched by the use of Crogiolo small-size ceramic tiles.
