Essenziale and Treverkmood, the collections chosen for a trend-setting bathroom in a house near Varese

A new residential project takes us to Ferno, near Varese in Italy, to a splendid home where the purchasers have decided to give their domestic interiors a look which will last over time, which takes an eclectic approach to current fashions and provides a welcoming yet original overall ambience.
The bathroom was designed throughout with two Marazzi collections: Essenziale and Treverkmood. The wood-effect Treverkmood collection, chosen in the Rovere colour and the 15×90 cm size, was used both as flooring and as wall covering of the shower area, as well as to clad the bathtub structure.
The Treverkmood series is shaped by the growing interior design trend which beautifies floors with salvaged wood to create unique, exclusive surfaces every time. The overall effect achieved is highly original, with the pronounced variations in shading typical of old wood, which only grows more beautiful with age.
Contrasting with the wood-effect of the Treverkmood line, the satin white of the Essenziale collection was chosen as wall covering.
A versatile line, Essenziale is ideal for interpreting living-spaces in a variety of ways. This slimline wall covering in the large 40×120 cm size includes the 3D Flora structure with relief patterning, which evokes the lines of nature.
An intimate, trendy bathroom, featuring the perfect combination of the total white Essenziale wall tiles and the hand-made look of the Treverkmood wood-effect stoneware.
