Leading-edge technology and innate versatility

The new The Top materials evoke fossil sediments rich in details of marine creatures, pebbles with the deep, dark colour typical of quartzites, and the delicate veining of Calacatta marble.

Marazzi The Top is a tool at the service of architectural design. Not just because it offers large slabs for the construction of kitchen countertops, backsplashes, tables, vertical coverings or furnishings but also because its colours and finishes can be matched with a vast array of materials, to generate continuity and dialogue between different zones in both private and contract projects and even outdoors.

The Top provides highly sophisticated, beautifully defined materials, more sustainable and lightweight than the natural equivalents and enabling exceptional levels of customisation in use. These material effects can even be applied to surfaces in contact with food, from which, thanks to the Puro Marazzi Antibacterial technology incorporated in the production process, up to 99.9% of bacteria and other harmful microorganisms are eliminated.

The collection is extended to embrace a new marble variety (Calacatta Supreme), two stone effects (Jura in Beige and Grey colours and Infinity in Anthracite colour) and the Oak wood effect. Calacatta Supreme is inspired by the Italian marble quarried in the Carrara mountains and has exquisite grey and gold veining. The 3D Ink technology, here applied to The Top marble effect porcelain stoneware for the first time, slightly recesses the veins to enhance the depth of the surface patterning.

Jura is inspired by its namesake German limestone, quarried in the Jura mountains, in the Franconia region. It is a stone formed on the seabed, a uniform sedimentary rock containing a wealth of shells and fossil fragments which add interest and warmth to its surface.

Brazilian quartzite is reinterpreted in Infinity, available in the dark, deep Anthracite colour, with embedded pebbles of different sizes, featuring subtle tone-on-tone colour variation combined with delicate veining. The new The Top slabs are manufactured using controlled production processes, in closed-cycle plants, with state-of-the-art machinery that minimises the use of resources and recycles all waste materials.
